My father told me some time ago that I should focus on one thing and finnish that before I move on to the next project. But I find it very hard to do this. It's like a flow you get for one specific thing and when it's gone it's no use to keep going. I want the things that I'm interested in doing to be perfect, so why do anything half-hearted?
But I also realized that he had a point in his saying. I can't just jump from project to project. Well, I can sort of and I thinks it's better but I can't leave it unfinnished forever. I understod that I needed some structure in my life, so that's why I started making these list for getting thru the day.
The list on the picture is the longest one so far. I also acctually completed most of the things but failed alot on performing the tasks.
For example; my ear hasn't been working to 100% latly. So last night when I couldn't sleep I decided to fix it... Now it's even worse.
When making a list the most common defeat is not completing it. Like "cleaning the toilet". Wich has become a classic even though I just need to clean the sink. But the worst defeat is when you acctually do something on the list and it doesn't go the way you planned it.
But anyway. This helps me structuring my life and Im getting more organized, I'd say I'm about a 14% organized man right now and 86% confused. And if I had a more long term list it would probobly look like this right now:
* Make design shit to apply to schools
* Make beats (mainly) for rappers tape
* Decorate appartment
* Decorate City
* Clean toilet
* Find out what Kalle is doing
* try to survive
